Terms of Service.
Last updated July 4, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ConferenceGrid website at conferencegrid.com and the products, subscription plans, and APIs offered through it (together, the “Service”), operated by ConferenceGrid (“ConferenceGrid,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you agree to these Terms on its behalf and confirm you have authority to do so.
1. The Service
ConferenceGrid provides a searchable catalogue of B2B conferences, trade shows, and summits and the companies and professionals associated with them, compiled from publicly available sources. Parts of the catalogue are free to browse. We also offer paid subscription plans and an API that provide additional intelligence and tooling. We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time.
2. Accounts & eligibility
- You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
- We use passwordless sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address associated with your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
- Accounts belong to a team. A team administrator may manage members, plan, and settings. Actions taken by team members bind the team.
- Provide accurate information and keep it current. Notify us of any unauthorised use of your account.
3. Subscriptions, billing & renewals
- Plans and fees. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis at the price shown at checkout. By subscribing you authorise us and our payment processor to charge that fee to your payment method.
- Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through the billing portal in your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you retain paid access until then.
- Payment processing. Payments are handled by Stripe. Your use of payment features is also subject to Stripe’s terms. We do not store full payment-card numbers.
- Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it and, if it remains unpaid, downgrade your team to the free plan.
- Price changes. We may change plan prices; changes apply to the billing period after we give you reasonable notice.
- Taxes. Fees are exclusive of taxes, which you are responsible for where applicable.
- Refunds. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable and there are no refunds or credits for partial billing periods.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-download the Service or its data by any automated means except through the API within your plan’s limits;
- resell, redistribute, or sublicense the data or make it available as a competing dataset or product;
- exceed documented API rate limits, or circumvent access controls, quotas, or security measures;
- use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages, or in violation of anti-spam or marketing laws;
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to infringe the rights of others;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service; or
- reverse engineer or attempt to derive the source code of the Service, except as permitted by law.
5. Catalogue data & accuracy
The catalogue is compiled and inferred from third-party public sources and is provided for general business-intelligence purposes on an “as is” basis. We do not warrant that it is complete, accurate, current, or error-free, and you should independently verify information before relying on it for decisions. If you believe a listing is inaccurate — or you are named in one and want it corrected or removed — contact data@conferencegrid.com and see our Privacy Policy.
6. Intellectual property & licence
The Service, including its selection, arrangement, and compilation of data, its software, and its branding, is owned by ConferenceGrid or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property and database laws. Subject to these Terms and your plan, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without restriction or obligation to you.
7. Third-party content & links
The Service references and links to events, companies, and websites operated by third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, sites, or services, and linking does not imply endorsement.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE AND ALL DATA ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CONFERENCEGRID AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US$100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THESE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold ConferenceGrid harmless from any claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of the rights of any third party.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.
12. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for any dispute not subject to arbitration or a small claims court, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any competent court to protect our intellectual property.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
